Why the READY Hub?

Background to the Hub

Founder and Chief Catalyst, Lucy Mills, was captivated by Web 3.0 communities that use blockchains to re-imagine and build regenerative solutions to address inequalities, financial exclusion, climate change, and other pressing issues in society. Inspired by these blockchain-powered “regen” ambitions, she set out to apply them to women’s sport. 

Recognizing the untapped potential in this space, Lucy, alongside several other inspirational members of our Advisory team, founded READY in June 2022 with the mission to build a learning community that ignites curiosity, fosters learning about Web 3.0, and gets women's sport ready for the future. 

Propelled by the growing demand among athletes, clubs, and non-profits alike, we have evolved into a dedicated tech and innovation hub for women’s sport, with our original mission of pioneering blockchain for women’s sport being a continued priority.
